Dear Towson Golf & Country Club Member:

              We are excited to extend an invitation to you to the 2008 Men’s Member Guest Tournament, the event of the year!  Make your reservations early; this will be an event not to be missed.  The 2008 Men’s Member Guest Tournament will be held June 12, 13 & 14, 2008.

Activities have been planned to entertain the gentlemen and their ladies throughout the weekend.  The men begin the weekend on Thursday with a luncheon followed by a 2-Man Best-Ball Tournament.  Later at Stag Night, the men will participate in competitive golf activities to challenge their golfing skills. On Thursday, the ladies are invited to participate in a 9-hole Captain’s Choice Tournament.  Non-golfers are welcome to join our golfers at a luncheon following the women’s tournament.

Friday begins the official tournament with three 9-hole matches.  On Saturday the men will play two 9-hole matches after which all flight winners will participate in a playoff to determine the overall winner of the Towson Golf and Country Club 2008 Men’s Member Guest Tournament.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided both days. 

 The Saturday Night Gala tops off the weekend.  You will enjoy a Cocktail Party, an Awards Ceremony, a Gourmet Dinner, an Open Bar, and dancing to Gazze.  If your guest isn’t “golfed out” or doesn’t need to travel home on Sunday, feel free to invite them to play another round, for just the cart fee.

The cost of this year’s tournament is $795.00.  This is an all inclusive price including gratuity.  The ladies’ tournament on Thursday will incur an additional fee of $50 dollars per 2-person team to cover the cost of the golf, carts, luncheon, a gift for all participants, and of course - prizes.  Non-golfers may attend the luncheon for only $12.95++ per person.

For your convenience, the cost of the 2008 Men’s Member Guest Tournament will be billed in 3 monthly installments, beginning in May.  The cost is fully refundable if cancelled by May 15, 2008.  After May 15, 2008 refunds will only be given if a replacement is found.

The tournament will be limited to the first 60 members.  Register soon.  All unlimited golfing members who played last year will be guaranteed a spot if they register by April 20, 2008.  After April 20th, unlimited golfing members on the waiting list will be given preference on a first come, first served basis.  After May 1st, if the tournament is not full, unlimited golfing, limited, social plus, and non-resident classifications will be allowed to register and will be given preference on a first come, first served basis.  Contact the Pro Shop at 410-252-5960 to reserve your spot.
