MEN’S OPENING TOURNAMENT

TIME: 9:00 A.M. Shotgun Start

FORMAT: Two best balls of four, net only, 100% handicap

MEN’S TWILIGHT LEAGUE

Matches will be played on alternating Tuesdays based on the 1st night of play.

TIME: 5:30 P.M. Shotgun - Front Nine

FORMAT: Four Ball Match Play at 100% of instant handicap for nine holes. Points awarded based on 8 points for lowest net score, 7 for the next lowest, etc. Each team will play a total of 8 matches. Pro shop credit awarded for 1st half (4 match) winners and 2nd half winners based on total points. Overall division champions will be determined by a playoff between 1st and 2nd half point leaders at the completion of league play.
SIGN UP DEADLINE: (Note that all participants from 2005 are entered in the 2006 league. Each player must confirm with the Pro Shop if they wish to participate by the sign up deadline.) Those individuals wishing to play in the 2006 league that did not play in 2005 can sign up as an alternate and selection will be made on a 1st come 1st serve basis.

FORMAT: 54 Holes of Individual Stroke Play, Flighted by Handicap, Play will be Gross only.

MEN’S STAG DAYS

TIME: 1:00 P.M. Shotgun, May, June and July, 12:00 Noon Shotgun, October

FORMAT: Four Ball Stroke Play (Better Ball) Gross and Net, Member and Guest will play at 80% of handicaps, with a maximum of 20 strokes. Each member can bring up to 3 guests.

BEAT THE PRO

TIME: Make your own Tee Time, play in your own foursome

FORMAT: 18 Holes of Individual Stroke Play, 100% of Handicap, Your Net score against the Pro’s Gross score. Beat the pro and receive double your money in retail credit, tie or lose and retain your bet in retail credit.

MIXED CHAMPIONSHIP

TIME: 1:00 A.M. Start, Straight Tee Times

FORMAT: Saturday Better Ball of 2, Mixed, Net and Gross at 100% of Handicap, Sunday Chapman with Handicap, Combine 60% of the low Handicap with 40% of high Handicap.

FORMAT: 18 Holes of Stroke Play Net and Gross at 100% of Handicap, Nine holes each day, front and back nines. Flighted by handicap.

Ladies Times immediately following the men’s.

FORMAT: 36 Holes of Medal Play Net and Gross at 100% of Handicap. Flights determined by age (Must be 50 years of age or older).

FORMAT: 18 Holes of Medal Play. No Handicap. 15 Spots for the Men’s Match Play Championship Flight Only.

Ladies times will immediately follow the men’s.

FORMAT: Match Play, No Handicap, Men’s Championship Flight determined by Qualifying, all other Flights, Both Men and Women determined by Handicaps, First Round loss, Player moves to a Consolation Flight, Second Round loss, Player is eliminated.

TIME: 5:30 P.M. Shotgun

FORMAT: 9 Holes Front nine, Best two balls of four, 100% Handicap for 9 holes Net Only.

JUNIOR-SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP

TIME: 12:30 P.M. Start, Straight Tee Times

FORMAT: Four ball Stroke Play, 100% of Handicap. Each team must count the Junior’s (Age’s 17 and under) a minimum of 3 times in the 9 hole division, and a minimum of 6 times in the 18 hole division.

WGEN MIXER

TIME: 8:30 A.M. Shotgun

FORMAT: 18 Hole Scramble, Four player teams paired by Handicap, Gross Only.

JUNIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

TIME: 8:00 A.M. Start, Straight tee times

FORMAT: Medal play, no handicaps. There will be a 4 hole division (ages 9 & under), a 9 hole division (ages 10 - 13) and an 18 hole division (ages 14-17).

LADIES 9 HOLE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

TIME: 9:00 A.M. Start, straight tee times

FORMAT: Match play (9 hole matches) no handicap, flights determined by handicap. Lose 1st match player is disqualified.

MEN’S PRESIDENT’S - CORNISH CUP

TIME: 7:00 A.M. Start, straight tee times

FORMAT: 36 Holes Stroke Play, 100% handicap net and gross. Flights determined by handicap.

GLOW BALL TOURNAMENT

TIME: 8:45 P.M. Shotgun

FORMAT: 4 Holes Stroke Play (Holes #10, #11, #17, #18), Handicaps will be determined by the strokes normally received by each player on the holes played at 100% of Handicap. There will be a Men’s and Ladies division. Net only.

LADIES 9 HOLE FALL FOLLY

TIME: 9:00 A.M. Shotgun

FORMAT: 18 Holes of Individual Stroke Play at 100% of Handicap (completed over 2 days), Net and Gross using your Ringer Score (The best score Net and Gross of each hole for the 2 rounds).

FORMAT: 45 holes (Five 9 hole matches) of four ball match play at 100% handicap (Low handicap player plays at scratch and the remaining players will receive the difference between their handicap and that of the low handicap in the match), flights determined by combined handicap, each flight will consist of 6 teams, each team in the flight will play each other once. Each hole played is worth 1 point, halved is 1/2 of a point. The team with the most points after all matches are played will win their flight and qualify for a playoff with the other flight winners for additional monetary prizes.

Note: All participants in 2006 are entered to play in 2007 by confirming with the pro shop. Alternates will be taken on a first come first serve basis.

Cancellation Policy: March 1st by 5:00 P.M. - unless a replacement is found. Anyone cancelling out of Member Guest after March 1st will be responsible for the entry fee.

WGEN MIXER & FINAL LUNCHEON

TIME: 9:00 A.M. Shotgun

FORMAT: 9 Hole Scramble - Pandora’s Box (On each Tee there is information on how the Scramble should be played for each hole).

HALLOWEEN TOURNAMENT

TIME: All day, make your own Tee Times and Play in your own Foursome.

FORMAT: Total number of Putts, Men’s and Ladies divisions.

FINAL BLAST MIXER

TIME: 8:30 A.M. Shotgun

FORMAT: Best 2 Balls of foursome, Net only at 100% of Handicap.

PRO SHOP SIDE GAMES

DATES: Every Non Tournament Saturday and Sunday from April 1st thru November 30th

TIME: All day, make your own Tee Times and Play in your own Foursome.

FORMAT: Saturday’s - Closest to the Flagsticks on all par 3’s

Sunday’s - Better Side (Take your best 9 hole score and double it, subtract 100% of your Handicap. Ladies add 3 strokes to your Handicap.)

RED, WHITE AND BLUE TOURNAMENT

DATE: July 4th

TIME: All day, make your own Tee Times and Play in your own Foursome.

FORMAT: Play will be individual Stroke Play, 100% of Instant Handicap. You will use alternating Tee Boxes, beginning on Red Tee Hole #1, White Tee Hole #2, and Blue Tee Hole #3, then continue alternate play throughout 18 holes in the above order. Women will Play the Red, White and Gold Tees.

JUNIOR INTERCLUB OF BALTIMORE

Eligible:

Boys and Girls ages 10 to 17.
Must be Unlimited Members of Towson Golf and Country Club.
Must qualify for the team. (Low four scores for each age group, 13 & under, 14 & 15, 16 & 17) will make the team. Two of the four will play in the first match with the other two playing the following match, etc. total of five matches.

Qualifying Dates:

Friday, June 30 – 8:27 A.M.
Saturday, July 1 – 2:00 P.M.
Sunday, July 2 – 2:00 P.M.

Note: Each individual can play one or all three days. The lowest score of either day will count as their qualifying score. Only one round is necessary to qualify.

Format:

13 & Under will play 9-holes medal play from the red tees.
14 – 17 will play 18-holes medal play, Boys white course, Girls red course.
USGA RULES will govern play.

Match:

First match is TBD.
Each team member is responsible for their own transportation. If transportation can not be obtained, please notify the Pro Shop.
One should arrive at the course by 11:30 A.M. Tee times will start at 12:00 noon.
